Hi Ivan,
Help me, please!
I have a song mixed and mastered by one of my friends recently. I am disappointed...the shaker turned into a disturbing sharp noise in the mix.. shocks the ear! What is the problem? What can I do? I don't want to harm him he did me a favor. Any advice?

Hi Elena,
Shakers can be tricky sometimes. I's not easy to find the best level in a mix. I suggest you to cut high range a bit especially in case of using close microphoning techniques. I'd give it a shot if you need it.
